Description: Two chair seats for an upstairs bedroom in Ashton Vills, one of Galveston's Broadway mansions, built in 1859

Project: Bird's Eye View
Location: Helen Hall Library, League City, Texas
Designer: Pat Blailock used blueprints of the original community buildings from the 1800s to make the line drawings for the project. Various committee members worked on stitching the project through the years. Eventually, the Chapter hopes to complete nine panels in all.
Description: Each piece measures 18" x 18" and is worked in Medici wool. All lettering is done in black silk.

Project: Texas Governor's Mansion Angels
Location: Texas Governor's Mansion
Designer: Pat Fisher (Chapter member)
Description: The dimensions as directed by the Governor's Mansion were not larger than 40 square inches. Most of our angels were between 6" x 7", up to 10" x 4". The threads include cotton floss, specialty threads and metallics. The ground fabric for all the angels was 14- or 18-count canvas, with one angel stitched on cotton fabric. The finishing was handled by the Governor's Mansion.
