White House Christmas Stockings

Location: White House, Washington D.C.
Description:
Each stocking is 8" or 10" and was worked on canvas ranging in count from 14 to 25, and a few were done on linen.
1995 101 stockings; each stitcher designed a stocking based on the poem, "'Twas the Night Before Christmas." 
1996 152 stockings; each stitcher designed a stocking based on the ballet, "The Nutcracker."
