There are times when the perfect completion for needlework on canvas or fabric is to finish it without a hard frame. It might become a bellpull, a soft framed wall hanging, a small flat ornament, or a necklace. Finishing it well can make all the difference between perfect and amateur. This class will offer options. Three separate finishings will be practiced and others will be discussed. The three samples will be a braided outline joining, a sewn on canvas twisted cord, and a backstitched mock picot edging.

Proficiency Level: Intermediate

Design Size: not applicable

Kit Fee/Contents: $20; Congress cloth, linen, #18 canvas, #5 overdyed pearl, #4 Kreinik Metallic, silk thread in a variety of colors, needles, and colored instruction booklet.
