March 1999: Rhodes Heart

This stitch provides texture to heart shaped areas. It can be decreased or enlarged to fit just about any area. Carefully lay stranded cotton or silk for a smoother effect. Create a dramatic multi-color effect with an overdyed thread. The thread choice determines the effect created by this stitch.
