ANG Workshop by Mail - Let's Party

The ANG Workshop by Mail program provides a unique, limited-time opportunity to obtain instructions from leading designers for pieces not available on the retail market. This program is designed to be relaxed and unstructured. There is no need for a computer, no discussion list, no classroom, and no deadlines. This is simply a project you can enjoy at your leisure. A Workshop by Mail project is also well suited for a chapter or group program, with each stitcher providing his or her own stitching materials.

Our second WbM project this year is Cheryl Schaeffer’s Let’s Party. Cheryl designed this Halloween-themed piece to inspire us to have fun and everyone who saw the piece at last year’s seminar, got right into the spirit of the piece. We have pumpkins, a scary ghost and of course, candy corn to get us in the Halloween mood. Cheryl finished her piece as a standup, complete with decorative button feet and a big, bright orange bow. Tiny ghosts are attached along the sides of the finished piece with decorative pins which also serve at the ghosts’ eyes. The piece is absolutely delightful!

Registration Dates: July 1, 2009 through December 31, 2009.
Instructions, a color picture, and commemorative pin will be sent via US mail to all enrollees.

Payment: The fee schedule is as follows:
$35 (ANG member shipping addresses in the United States)
$40 (ANG member shipping addresses outside of the United States)

Order: There are several ways to order Let's Party:

Method 1. Print out and complete a registration form. When paying by check or money order made payable to ANG, mail payment and registration form to the address indicated on the form. When paying by credit card, include all credit card information, and either mail registration form to the address indicated on the form or fax it to 608-443-2478. Method 2. Purchase using the PayPal buttons below. Mailings: Orders will be filled via monthly mailings done no later than the 15th of each month. If you have not received your instructions within six weeks of sending your check, please notify the Registrar at WorkshopByMailRegistrar@needlepoint.org. After December 31, 2009, copies of the instruction booklet will not be available.
