To fulfill the purpose of the American Needlepoint Guild,
Educational Services continues to research possibilities for
national projects to create significant forms of needlepoint in
places of worship, public buildings, and historical landmarks of
the United States. ANG has endeavored to leave a legacy for
future generations by completely funding twelve such projects. For
more information about any of these projects, please contact ANG's
Director for Educational Services.
- United Nations Peace Rug
In a world that is constantly changing, many countries
depicted in the Peace Rug are no longer in existence.
This has necessitated the removal of the rug from public
display. It now is in the archives of the United Nations
Building in New York City.
- State Seal Rug
Hangs in the headquarters of the National Society of the
Daughters of the American Revolution in Washington, D.C.
- State Flower and
Bird Rug
Located in the library of the Chicago Botanical Gardens, Glencoe,
Illinois.
- Federal Cabinet Seals
Placed in the appropriate Cabinet offices in Washington, D.C.

palace.
- Selective Service System Seal

D.C.
- Agnese Map

Completed in 1992 in conjunction with the 500th
anniversary of Columbus' discovery of the New World, the
framed map is permanently displayed in the American Embassy in Dublin,
Ireland.
- Congressional Club Seal

Club in Washington, D.C.
- Ducks Unlimited
Located in the national headquarters of Ducks Unlimited, Inc., in Memphis, Tennessee.
- White House Christmas
Stockings
The theme of 'Twas The Night Before Christmas was carried
out in the 101 Christmas Stockings stitched by ANG members and hung on the 1995 Christmas Tree in the Blue Room
of the White House. The 1996 White House Christmas
Stockings theme was The Nutcracker. These 152 stockings joined with the 1995 stockings to be incorporated into
the Christmas decor for 1997. They are now part of the Clinton Administration
memorabilia.
- Blair
House Chair Seats
Blair House in Washington, D.C., is the official guest house for visiting dignitaries.
The four Queen Anne chairs are located in the primary suite and the
upstairs hall.
- NASA
Patches
Official NASA patches for 133 manned space missions hang at the John C.
Stennis Space Center in Mississippi. ANG has formed an alliance with NASA
and continues to provide stitched replicas of the official patch for each
mission that is launched.
