About ANG
Incorporated in 1972, the American Needlepoint Guild, Inc. (ANG) is a 501(c) 3 educational organization. Our membership includes national and international members who may belong to one or more chapters (local and/or online), or they may be Members at Large (MAL).

Chapter membership offers active participation and fellowship through programs and instruction in needlepoint. Chapter dues are set locally and are in addition to national dues. For more information and to join ANG click here.

ANG offers education through a variety of programs, annual events, and certification for teachers, judges, artists/designers, appraisers, and needlepointers.

Needle Pointers is ANG's proprietary members-only benefit magazine. It is is published six times a year and contains educational articles, photographs of needlepoint projects (charted and painted designs), stitch diagrams, and book reviews. The magazine also includes information about needlepoint events and news from local chapters.

Membership is open to all. You are not required to demonstrate any level of stitching accomplishment to be eligible for membership. We welcome beginners, enthusiasts, and all who are interested in needlepoint.
